Beautiful

She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful & life was so short. -Story People

I couldn’t have said it any better.

When I find words like this. . . words that resonate. . . words that could have been my own if only I were so eloquent or sophisticated. . .

When I find words like this is when I realize it.

I realize. . . I’m not the only one.   I’m not the only one who feels it. . .

In my quite moments I feel it deep within.  I see it with incredible clarity. . . the world is full of beauty.

Beautiful moments.
Beautiful relationships.
Beautiful words.
Beautiful people.

Yes, the world is beautiful and life is short. . .

Today, I’m taking it in.  As another year comes to a close I’m taking it all in.  Reflecting, remembering, celebrating. . .

This is a beautiful time of year. . .

More to come. . .

Summer, love this quote! I had a good cry last night at all the GOOD things God has given to me…and also some tears for all the trials, struggles and pain that life has thrown my way but not tears of sadness BUT tears of happiness as I've come through so much! I even thought to myself, "Am I the only one who does this???" After reading your post, I now have my answer!

Amen. I am writing this quote in my journal. Someone once told me that crying means there are unresolved "issues" in your life that one needs to work through. I think that is the case in some instances…. but for the most part in my life I cry because I am overcome with joy and, as you said, the beauty of it all. Merry Christmas, Summer!ReplyCancel
