I was pretty stoked today when I got all my ducks in a row and planned and cooked dinner (ahead of time), baked homemade bread, and then even pulled myself together enough to make Chad one of his favorite sweet compilations– a chocolate and peanut butter dessert.  So what if Betty Crocker got it all […]

Can i just say little Miss M. is looking SO grown up!! I have noticed that in the past month. The babiness is still there, but fading…you can see the toddler face.

Oh these kids grow up so quickly.ReplyCancel

My intention was to write this post on Sunday.  On Sunday I was still flying high off the fumes from an enjoyable weekend and the stories, still fresh, were just waiting to be written.  You know what they say, though. . . best laid plans.  So the blog sat idle on Monday, on Tuesday, and […]

Charlie's face at the wedding made my day. So funny.

Sophia is having a Dancing with the Stars birthday party. Just a bunch of kids, music and dancing. I'm thinking you all would be amazing guests. 😉

Your dad…well, that whole part of this post made me cry. I so wish I had that. So bad. I miss having parents. ReplyCancel

Once there was a girl.  She was young and naive.  She was shy and sassy.  She was a happy girl.  She was a girl who was feeling her way through the world.  A bit intense, at times.  At times, a bit too serious. One day that girl saw a boy.  He walked by that girl […]

Truth for sure…Chad was always walking at an even, slow, steady pace. I appreciated that. Now, I have my own man who seems to "walk" through life with this same type of pace. Those men help level us out, don't they Summer! I was blessed to be a witness of your beautiful wedding day and have really enjoyed re-connecting with your life through your blog. However, I do hope to re-connect in person too one of these days. Virtual hugs just aren't the same. Happy Anniversary you two!ReplyCancel

It’s been a whole week since I’ve ventured to this space.  I don’t think I’ve been away for that long since I was pregnant with Meadow.  Don’t worry, I’m not pregnant. . . though by the 1/4 jar of mayo I found in the pantry and the clothes that I put in the dryer without […]

YES, Katie. This is the BEST time of year. I hope you are soaking it in, as well!!ReplyCancel

I talked about it a few weeks ago.  The way Meadow prefers to go, um, shall we say, natural?  Well, she’s still doing it.  I’m wondering when a phase stops being a phase and begins to be a pattern?  I know what you’re thinking. . . have you considered the possibility that she’s ready to […]

    heehee!!

I can relate so much to the no diaper thing. The minute Henry can gain access to his diaper it is OFF and he doesn't want it on. And potty training, well he is not there yet either 🙂

These pictures are so beautiful. The one with Meadow blowing the dandelion….uh perfection in every way.

And they look like such wonderful memories so far and summer hasn't even started! ReplyCancel

    Summer. These photos? Stop it.

    STOP it. They're gorgeous.

I believe they do say that the youngest child is often a bit "wild". I'm excited to watch Meadow grow up.

And in these photos I cannot get over how grown up Charlie looks. {tear}ReplyCancel
