I’ve Never Blogged In New York City

. . . until today.

We made it.  Our plane landed and I behaved like a giddy school girl as I took in all the hustle and the bustle of the New York City streets.  Upon our arrival we ate hummus with great friends,  looped around Central Park and took in the glorious sights of Times Square.  Chad and I walked up and down the city streets at dark as rain poured buckets on our heads–(More his head than mine since he’s bald and the $5 umbrella we purchased on the street was suitable for a six year old child. ) As Chad and I finagled our way through the busy sidewalks during rush hour in the pouring rain I couldn’t help but smile and sing to Chad, this is awesome!!

I’ve been dreaming about this trip for years and I’m still pinching myself that we are here.  I don’t have a whole lot to blog about tonight, but how could I not blog while looking out the rain soaked windows of our hotel room and hearing the horns of cabs on the streets below?  I can’t not say something.  Even if it’s a short. . . OH MY GOODNESS WE’RE IN NEW YORK CITY!!!!!!

I’ve never blogged in New York City–until today.

I was able to pull my camera out of the bag for a quick shot between the raindrops.  This was my first click today. . .

It’s got me thinking–what should be next on my non-bucket list?

I’ll be back tomorrow celebrating a special day of a special little girl.

Have a lovely day.
