I think you love those crutons too much. I think maybe you should marry them like when Pee-wee herman married his salad!!! Just a suggestion.ReplyCancel

Almost five years ago I gave birth to our first child.  We didn’t find out what we were having beforehand and I would be lying if I said I had no concerns upon learning it was a boy. How am I supposed to raise a boy?  What am I supposed to do?  How will I […]

so very cute. i'm not raising this adorable and loving boy, but i am allowed to say that it is SO HARD to believe that he is already 5. he grows from picture to picture it seems, right before my eyes.

he's lucky to have you as his Mommy.ReplyCancel

Oh my gosh you are such a good mommy! What a fantastic idea to celebrate Charlie by spending one-on-one time with him. I thoroughly support that fantastic idea to let him have the reigns. What fun for both of you! He will remember that day I'm sure for a very long time….I'll be watching out for that whoopie cushion next time I'm in your house!ReplyCancel

So very sweet. And, I can absolutely imagine your initial misgivings and FEAR about raising a boy… you know, since you and I are NOT boys…

Clearly, though – you have done (and are doing!) a magnificent job.

Good for you (and your in-laws) for allowing you to have that amazing time with your sweet, sweet boy.

(That last picture is far too cute for words. It's a framer.)ReplyCancel

I am a runner and have been running for twenty years. While there are times when I might run on a track, trail, or treadmill, the majority of my running is done on the streets of my town or in whatever town I happen to be. Throughout the years, I have had a lot of […]

Today is National Ice Cream Day.  Who Knew?  We did!  We felt it necessary to celebrate. . . And if one is good. . . two MUST be better! Turns out that President Regan declared July as National Ice Cream Month.  I knew I liked that man.  Chanelle does, too. If you missed the Official […]

I’m an idealist.  In my mind everything is beautiful and lovely and storybook perfect.  I mean, who doesn’t want that? Let’s talk dinnertime, for example.  It has always been a goal that we sit down as a family in the evening and eat a meal together.  I mean we’ve all heard the statistics, right? Eating […]

I love this. There's the ideal, and there's the reality. More often than not, the reality is a lot more fun in the end. 🙂ReplyCancel
