Daylight savings time.  I would like to meet the individual who thought this was a good idea.  I certainly didn’t get a vote.  It was actually 6:52 when I took this picture.  I tend to hold on, as long as I can, to that precious hour that gets lost in the abyss of nothingness.  I […]

This is beautiful. I'm kind of sad we missed the last snow. Makes me wish we played one more time in the snow before we left.

    Although, I welcome SPRING! 😉ReplyCancel

So right Summer we are not in control and never know what is going to happen. When I saw what happened in other parts of the world I thanked God for the snow:) Now that is something!!! We don't have control. But is it not great that God does!!! He is always there with us. He knows what is best, even when we don't understand the why. He is holding our hands. I know that I have trouble with wanting to control things even with my 21 and 19 year old. But some good words of wisdom I heard on the radio "Let me (GOd) write their testimonies. I try and remember this. Love the pic of Charlie.ReplyCancel

There was this day when I wrote a blog post and it was all about how spring had sprung and the sun was shining and we were jumping for joy at the invitation to enjoy all that is the outdoors.  And on that day I was so sure that it had finally sprung and we […]

I heard about the umbrella and that "Charlie is going to get a spiderman or cars one, cause he doesn't like purple":) We need to learn to dance in the rain:) You are such a wonderful mom. Now write this down unless your memory is better than mine, but I guess you do have it on your computer:)
So adorable. Yes that is Charlie's serious face:) He was a big help yesterday to me too:) Love the snowday:)ReplyCancel

Great photos. I love that first one of Chanelle. …and I'll have to keep an umbrella in mind for Sophia this Spring. I'm sure she'd probably think it was the coolest thing ever too. You always have great ideas.ReplyCancel

Thank you for your blog dear friend. Been up since one a.m. unable to sleep…partially because of a little one who doesn't want to sleep and partially because I'm so stinkin tired my mind won't stop running. I've been trying to get on your blog for about an hour…and finally it loaded and gave me just what I was hoping for…perspective. Thank you…even in this I want to bloom. Love you friend.ReplyCancel

I know what you’re thinking.  You’re thinking uh-oh, here she goes again. . . using her blog to appeal for another big ticket item.  But really, would I do that?  I mean, just because I did it here and again here, certainly I wouldn’t do it on a special day like today.  Not on your […]

Yes, You are a lucky girl but he is a lucky guy too to have you as his wife and mother to his children. I am sure he feels the same way. The only thing he shouldn't do is bring snakes in the house so his children wake up to screaming:) But I guess that is part of his silliness. Not to gushy:) love you all.ReplyCancel

I did a happy dance today.  A full out jump up and down, arms flapping through the air, spinning around in circles, crazy kind of happy dance.  My kids witnessed my little episode.  At first they just stared with stunned looks on their faces. But ever so slowly, smiles crept across their faces as they […]

I love to watch her sleep. Gone is the usual chatter, the excited giggles, and the inviting smile.  Gone are the constant questions, the boundless energy, and the bubbly personality. At rest. . . she is peaceful.  On Sunday afternoon she fought the nap.  It was a rare afternoon when even Charlie succumbed to the […]

Awe, I LOVE the Daddy/daughter bond. It's so sweet.

I slept with S last night and I was up half the night just staring at her. She's so peaceful and innocent. I was trying my hardest to soak it all in and memorize every detail about her face.ReplyCancel
