. . . that’s the sound of a whirlwind, in case you didn’t know.  Christmas is over and it went so quickly, I barely remember that it happened.  As I peruse the pictures I smile and laugh and tear up and wish I had super-powers that would slow the hands on the clock so that […]

Left my comment under the Grinch blog instead of this one….so please see below…lol.
Let it be noted also that I used the Grinch story for the young adult Sunday school lesson this week, the conclusion of the lesson was that we wanted to be people of the WHO (sounds like a B movie science fiction). We want to be people that no matter what our circumstances we will praise our God for family, friends and the promise of eternity. Who People!ReplyCancel

“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so?  It came without ribbons.  It came without tags.  It came without packages, boxes or bags.  And he puzzled and puzzled ‘till his puzzler was sore.  Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before.  What […]

What a special weekend, thanks for letting us being a part of it. What an awesome day. Kids are walking around the house with their air guitars…..so much fun!
Great reflection on a great weekend….just think, how many more great days God has in store for each of us. Bless you!ReplyCancel

It’s hard to believe that we are just days away from an entirely new year.  I’ve never been one for New Year’s Resolution’s.  In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever made one.  I am, however, a big one for reflection.  Reflecting on what was, on what is, and what will be.  As the day approaches […]

First of all, love your photo. I received a Christmas card with the whole family reflecting in a bulb. Very cool.

Second, I wish you were my neighbor. I would walk over and give you a giant hug, have a warm cup of something and chat. You are an amazing person. Merry Christmas.ReplyCancel

During the time of year when most are anxiously finishing their Christmas shopping, cleaning homes and preparing food for the craziness that this season brings, I pause and rest my eyes on another special day.  The birthday of my dear Friend over at Trophy Life.  I know. . . how beautiful is she?  How could […]

. . . truly, I don’t.  And I fear that the worrying, fretting, and talking I’ve been doing about my “sitting” might be heard as ungratefulness.  Blech.  That’s such an ugly word and the last message I want to send. I am thankful.  Really, really thankful for all that makes up this beautiful life.  I […]

Oh wow, you are so lucky to see a beautiful family of deer!!!! We occasionally get deer here at our house and I am glued to the window from the moment my eye sees them to the moment they flee away! They are beautiful creatures. So glad my hubby is not a deer hunter. If he was, I would be crying all the time, because I love deer so much. I will admit that they can scare me too….when they run out into the road while I am driving! 🙂

So sorry to hear about foot surgery. I am sure that was a difficult time for you. I hope you have recovered by now. I am sure I will find out more as I continue to read your blog. 🙂ReplyCancel
