Love that book "love you forever, like you for always. As long as I'm living. My baby you'll be." Still brings tears to my eyes. Happy Birthday Charlie!ReplyCancel

I just wanted to stop in quickly and say a big thank you to all of you who took the time to wish our sweet 5-year old a Happy Birthday in this space or through facebook, texts, and even a video message.  It is both humbling and heart warming to know that our simple story […]

Of all the posts I write throughout the year, there are three that I look forward to above all the rest.  Oddly, all three will be written over the next month as we celebrate the birthday’s of the (not so)  little ones who have added so much to our life.  Today is October 24th, the […]

We swam in a sea of tulle today.  My MIL and I worked the entire day preparing trick-or-treat costumes for Chanelle and Meadow.  I’m certain that I will dream of tulle tonight.  At this moment, I can still feel the material intertwined in my fingers and hear it’s slight rustling when it’s rubbed together.  Tulle […]

I don't know what it was… not enough coffee yet this morning… or just feeling a little emotional or something… but this made me full on tear up. I love that you were able to catch those moments with the dandelions. So much fun. And that Storypeople? One of my favorites.

    Thank you.ReplyCancel

How fun to make costumes, my mom always made mine growing up! Can't wait to see what they will be 🙂

And it looks like a lovely time at the park….and yes, we do have so much to learn.

It’s true.  I relapsed. It happens to the best of people, you know?  You work hard, give it your best, you take two steps forward. . . and then three steps back.  It was over two years ago when I wrote this post about my addiction to cookbooks.  Cookbooks were everywhere and something had to […]

I have the same problem with cookbooks. I try not to buy them anymore. I check them out from the library and copy the recipes I like. Then I put them in a binder. Well, that's what I do in theory! Good luck with the house sale. That's exciting.ReplyCancel

Oh my, family wrestling matches are the best. We used to call it "Ka-Pounce" , though. and the kids LOVED it!ReplyCancel

  • CharisFaith - October 19, 2012 - 1:36 pm

So exciting and yet I know what you mean about changes, even good ones, being bittersweet!

    Love Meadow's attack pose!!!ReplyCancel

  • Wrestling Kitties - October 23, 2012 - 4:59 pm

If there is a 12 step program for cookbooks, I will join. My husband actually added a shelf in our kitchen for all the books and my magazines are all in Henry's closet…oops! The worst is I usually only use like 3 or 4 of them or just find recipes online :/

Good luck with selling your house!

Meadow's attack pose is FANTASTIC!! She is just too adorable. (her eyes melt through my soul!!)

Preschool open house looks fun. And uh, I want C's outfit 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Ky • twopretzels.com - October 24, 2012 - 7:09 pm

Imperfect progress friend… imperfect progress. At least you were more apt to clean out the collection of cookbooks this time.

    🙂

And, do you already have your eyes on a house? I hope yours sells QUICKLY! But not too quickly – you need time to digest it all. I get that.

The photos of the open house were fantastic. Loved the Wrestlemania pics, too. Awesome.ReplyCancel
