I've been thinking of you today! I'm due 3 days after you…and I'M SO SCARED! Yesterday, I had a breakdown and pretty much cried the entire afternoon/evening away, convincing myself that I could not do this. Hormones…ugh.

6 pounds is so tiny…you will do wonderfully! I can't imagine him/her being so squished in there though…sounds like he/she may evacuate early to get some leg room. ๐Ÿ˜‰ReplyCancel

A little over a month ago, I wrote about the 365 project.  A picture a day for an entire year.  It was a project that I dropped out of last year after getting pregnant.  About a month ago, I was inspired to give it a go again and I just wrapped up the first 31 […]

It’s November. . . and we made it.  Baby #3 has yet to arrive and this blogger is breathing a huge sigh of relief.  It seems that parading around a neighborhood was not pleasing to our newest little one and after drinking a few liters of water and slowing down for a bit the contractions […]

Bah, I typed an entire comment and Blogger gave me an error and deleted it… ๐Ÿ™

    Happy birth month! Yay!

I must be overly emotional too, because this post made me cry. Sophia wants nothing more than to be 4 years old…ever since she turned 3. She asks us every day if she's 4 yet. So funny. I wondered what the hype of 4 was, but now I know it must be a rite of passage in childhood. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Love Chanelle's blanket selection. Super cool!

    Adorable costumes too. So creative!ReplyCancel

  • Adopted Aunt - November 1, 2011 - 11:18 pm

Love this post, pics, but I got teary eyed thinking about that blanket! Love the bright pink new one! Is it ok for a over 40 Lady? I am sure you all missed Charlie. You made a great memory weekend for her.

Hope the waiting will soon be over:). Yeah another one to have a November b day:)ReplyCancel

  • lisa - November 2, 2011 - 3:29 pm

Oh I just love this post! It's funny…my boys are nearly 12 and they still have their baby blankets in their beds and still bring them on trips with us…but not around their friends! ๐Ÿ™‚

Love the pics of Charlie coming home…especially where Chad is holding him…his underwear appear to be inside out! Made me smile! So cute!!! Knowing what it's like when my boys go to stay at the grandparents…sometimes they try to wear the same clothes the next day! ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn. -Elizabeth Lawrence I thoroughly enjoy this tree in our backyard.  It literally glows like fire.  I’ve noticed it more this October than in the past.  October is a busy month for us. . . actually the end of October is a busy time.  Who […]

I was due on Halloween two years ago with Quinn. As much as I wanted him out of me by that point, I still didn't want a Halloween baby. He came a week later…plenty into November as miserable as I felt. Praying for these last days to be restful for you!ReplyCancel

Today, my first born turns six. My beautiful boy is 6 years old.  If I were to ask this little guy what he wants for his birthday I would doubt that “Mommy’s words” would  make the top 100 on his list.  Regardless, I write them now trusting that someday he might deem them as valuable. […]

Happy birthday to one of the two best six year old boys I know (William is the other). You are the sunshine on my Thurs when I get to play with boys again. I love how you laugh as we tussle or should I say you knock me down and sit on me! I love how you play hide the truck and give your sister more hints. I love how when you were three or so you imitated your gran and me in the office. We just looked at each other, the way you notice the smallest things both inside and outside. How you help your sis up the mulch piles. You are a blessing from God! I know you will be a great big brother to the baby that will soon be here. Lots of hugs guy. And watch out next Thursday you will get your birthday kiss and tickles:). You have been blessed with great parents and grandparents who love you. But know I love you too! You are a great mom Summer. Boys are fun! Should know I have two!ReplyCancel
