I’ve written about it before.  Several times, actually.  It was probably around this time last year that I first opened up about it on the blog–The relationship that sends my heart a pitter-pattering and my eyes roaming everywhere with feelings of excitement, love, and wonder. . . feelings that seem to run throughout my entire […]

I have an extremely patient husband–about as laid back as they come, really.  Not too much rattles Chad.  I struck gold when I met him, and believe me, I know it.  Throughout our relationship he has always been a go-with-the-flow kind of guy.  This is an advantage for me as he has always been very […]

There are days when I come to this space and am filled with insecurity.  Days when I stare at the blank screen and  wonder what the heck I am doing.  Days when I compare my words to the words of others and I feel myself shrink, shrink, shrink down in size.  There are days when […]

I read that same quote this weekend and LOVED it! Thanks to you for introducing me to that site! 🙂

I love how you always seem to capture the things I'm thinking about and so eloquently put them out there into the web universe! You are so remarkable at expressing your heart…that is truly a rare talent! Thank you again for sharing and making me pause to ponder…

I've always felt that I am secretly an artist but that it's locked somewhere inside of me- just haven't found the key to unlock it yet. Still a mystery…but I'm not giving up on solving it! 🙂ReplyCancel

O sweetie you never have to shrink when thinking of who is reading but stand taller for being the one who has the words to express so much of what so many of us can say "hey that's what I was thinking or …". Now you have challenged us again.ReplyCancel

Who among us is not familiar with the pink ribbon?  We see it everywhere. . . on hats, shirts, posters, yogurt containers, pens, paper, race forms, commercials, shoes and, well, everywhere.  We see that tiny little ribbon and immediately our brain registers–breast cancer.  It seems that the campaign for Breast Cancer awareness has been going […]

Thank you for helping to spread the word about Prostate Cancer and the Blue Foundation. I was diagnosed in June with stage 4 PC and I'm only 48. They gave me a prognosis of 3-5 years, but I intend to prove them wrong! I have 2 small children that need their father around.

I’ve always been an early morning runner.  There is nothing like claiming the streets as my own and experiencing the quietness of the earth before it is overrun by engines, people, and the busyness that each day brings.  I have always found that the early morning hours are the most honest.  It is in those […]
