Thursday nights are my favorite. It is the end of my work week–if you call working 2 days a week a work week.  On Thursday night, more than any other night, I allow my mind to slow down and linger over the week.  While Chad meets up with a friend I steal away and relish […]

O I love your writing. Just waiting for you and mil to both write books. I think Charlie did a great job of drawing their favorite duck! Don't feel bad she always beats me at memory too! Yup a bunch of guys deciding what to do:). So glad you could stop in and see them. Can't believe the kids are going to be 4 and 6. Charlie keeps saying "channels" is first". And then a new one! The 9 would be good! Of November. How do you do the clear fuzzy thing like with Charlie and the moth? Hope weekend was great.ReplyCancel

I really hate to admit it, but it’s true.  I am a 365 Dropout.  If you are wondering what I’m talking about, I’m referring to a project I began last year on the 29th day of December.  The project, put forth by Shutter Sisters, encourages participants to take a picture a day for an entire […]

I am so with you!! There are a few things I wish I would've started a few years ago…and I'm STILL sitting here feeling guilty about it and regretting all the wasted time! Right there is my motivation! 🙂

I am hoping to start an online school in Nov. to finally finish my bachelors degree…it's something that I put on the backburner to have my family first. I've been waiting and I think it's long overdue- I wish so much that I had the energy to have gotten started 2 years ago! Oh well- no time for regrets now. Only time to look at the future with "glass half full" attitude!

    Let's do it!! 🙂ReplyCancel

O Summer you always get me thinking! I have been wanting to and have been working on getting organized in the house and ESP the bedroom that I just let go but have done some work on it. Ok. I will do it! Proud of you Lisa for taking online courses that is great!ReplyCancel

I used to take pictures with a camera like that. As a matter of fact, I bet a lot of the early pictures of Chad and Matt were taken with something similar to that camera.
I am going to regain the strength and stamina that I have lost over the last 18 months.

    Thanks!ReplyCancel

Fancy clothes, fancy shoes, nice darkened restaurants with tables lit by candlelight. Dancing the night away to the best music while letting the stresses of the week melt away.  Walking the town, taking in the night scene, meeting up with friends and laughing until the early morning hours and thinking of nothing but the here […]

That Emu is scary. Don't Emus spit often? Luckily, it sounds like you guys didn't get to experience that. 😉

It must have been the weekend for boo-boos. E lost control down our slide and ended up going half way down on her face. Her eye was bleeding and now she has somewhat of a black/red eye and red marks all down her face. The joys of parenthood.ReplyCancel

Hey Summer! I am kicking myself NOW! I am now ticked off that we did not take our kiddos over to Walnut Creek. After reading your post and looking at all the fun pictures, we WILL hopefully get over there next year! 🙂 So glad to hear that Chanelle's nose is okay! OUCH!

Sometimes, when the house is dark and quiet and I have a few stolen moments all to myself. . . I give my mind permission to travel there.  In the busyness of life I think my subconscious steers clear, knowing that there is too much to do and now is not the time.  But there […]

O Summer she would be proud of the mom you are and will become. She would be proud of the person you are! She would be proud of all that you have come out on the other side a winner of! Because those of us that are lucky enough to know you and have you in are lives are SO proud of you. You have awesome kids, a loving husband, and a great family and friends who love you. You are strong, and it's ok to not always be, to let the tears come, to be honest, to talk about whatever. Love you. Have a great day:)ReplyCancel

YOU ARE SO RIGHT—-SHE WOULD BE SO PROUD! So often I think, "Do our loved ones in Heaven see us?", "Are they able to see all the good things that take place in our lives?" Oh, how awesome if they can! 🙂
