No Thanksgiving won't be the same this year but its ok. Nothing has to be just like mom's. Its ok. I know my other two friends who lost parents this year its hard to go through the firsts. BUt take one day at a time one breath at a time. You will do fine!!! Love you girl.ReplyCancel

We are preparing.  All of us.  It’s just four days away and we’re getting ready.  The turkey is defrosting in the refrigerator, assignments have been given, grocery list has been prepared and items checked off one by one.  To-do lists are being written and phone calls exchanged. . . Can you do this?  Do you […]

Today I sat with a woman who has had a huge impact on my life.  An incredible woman whom I have sat with for several hours every month for the past five years.  She is my supervisor.  This lady is so much more than a supervisor, though.  She wears the hat of encourager, guide, mentor, […]

You remind me of myself at times. I never thought I'd be a SAHM. Never. But, once I became a Mom, I felt nothing else was as important. I worked so hard on my career, then just gave it up like that. I have urges to get more involved, and have opportunities thrown at me all the time, but something in the back of my mind tells me to turn them down…now is not the time. Hopefully, like you said, those opportunities will still be there when my children are grown up and don't need me as much.

Love all of your photos! (and the daily reminder to keep my head in the right place) 😉ReplyCancel
