I wasn’t going to blog tonight.  I really wasn’t.  All day I have been fighting hard to keep my eyes open and vowing that my head will hit the pillow as soon as final kisses were placed on the foreheads of my little ones.  Here I am, though, sitting at the computer and justifying it […]

I love the picture where Chanelle stood stoic… hoping that the truly glory of her sign was as appreciated as possible.

    Awesome.

I love these photos. So great.ReplyCancel

I am so glad you went! I was the bad mom and stayed home but did wake up to a big hug and kiss. I really had to share them today too which I thought funny since he asked me to be there with them! They have the relationship with tramps that mine do with my dad. I think I see tears in tramps eyes. They were so excited. I feel bad we didn't call you and tell u they would be early. How precious and we decorated last week at the house with streamers. They are waiting patiently for gran.ReplyCancel

@ Karlene. . . thanks so much for the comment and for letting me know you are reading! I really appreciate it!

@ Flinner. . . I enjoyed your observation about my music selection. I must also say that I am not surprised that YOU are the one that would notice such a thing. 🙂ReplyCancel

This word has been rolling through my mind all week.  I have no idea why.  I have found myself sitting on the porch watching Charlie and Chanelle play and getting lost in my thoughts about the future.  I find myself gazing into a brilliant blue sky covered with clouds that match the fluffiness of cotton […]

I’m pretty sure this baby is going to be a Rock Star.  The next Jon Bon Jovi or Stevie Nicks.  You think I’m joking, but I’m not. We watched our little Rockers first video on a wide screen t.v. just yesterday. This little boy or girl shook, wiggled, and bounced the entire time we got […]

Very happy for all of you. Nothing is more calming than to know your unborn child is perfect. The other two are so adorable and I love seeing pictures and hearing their comments.

Cute, cute baby. Love that you got to see him/her yawning and moving about. Our baby was sleeping most of the time and then we got to see him wake up. Cutest thing ever. He did the smack your lips thing over and over (that some people do when they wake up/dry mouth, etc.) and then rubbed his little eyes. Amazing that they have such 'real' actions inside the womb.

    I'm so excited for you!ReplyCancel

SUMMER! There's a BABY IN YOUR BELLY! I loved this post. I love the look of awe and wonderment on your little rock star's siblings' faces.

And I love that answer, too: "Mommy and Daddy are going to go to the hospital and the doctor is going to help get the baby out."

    Well played.ReplyCancel

I am not exactly sure how old I was.  Six?  Seven?  I know I was younger than eight and older than four.  I remember my mom walking toward the door after saying good-night and tucking me in for the night.  I remember sitting up in my twin bed in the room I shared with my […]

    friend….. tears….. so cute.

the good thing to know and remember is that this little "fear" inside is fleeting. when the next baby arrives and Charlie sees how much you can still love him and the new baby, all of it will be put to rest. i just know it.ReplyCancel

  • Written Permission - July 12, 2011 - 8:06 pm

Oh, my intentions were good.  They really were.  It all started out so innocently Saturday evening.  How about we grill pizza’s on the grill tomorrow night? I said to Chad. He was enthusiastic in his response, Mmmmmm. . . that sounds really good!   I tend not to like to do things half way.  If […]

That looks like so much fun! It made me laugh because I had a craving for cookies last night. Spent forever making them, cleaning up, etc. Plop them in the oven and sit down to relax after a long day. Totally FORGET I was baking cookies. They were black chunks of coal. 😉 It made me laugh. Good thing my cravings leave as soon as they come, huh? Ha.
